Snow Day

In February 2021, Toronto found itself once again in lockdown due to the global pandemic. The stay at home order permitted outside exercise which mercifully included walking, skating, tobogganing and cross country skiing. On this particular afternoon, gleeful shrieks, joyful shouts and some spectacular tumbles offered a break from the monotony of isolation. This series garnered two Silver medals at the Paris Street Photography Awards 2022 in the "Abstract" and "Street and Children Series" categories. Images from this collection have been exhibited at the PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont, 2021 ; Chania International Photo Festival, 2021 and the Treviso Photographic Festival, 2022.
